Senior Management

In 2012, Dominic led the acquisition of Fruugo, subsequently developing the platform, the business strategy and consistently growing sales and revenues each year. Prior to 2012, Dominic enjoyed a successful career in financial services before moving into magazine publishing, mail order and ultimately online retailing. He holds an MSc in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering.

Together with Dominic, Darren engineered the original online marketplace merger with Fruugo in Finland and subsequently the acquisition of the business in 2012. In his role at Fruugo, Darren has built the complex finance and data science functions within Fruugo. Darren is a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Tony joined Fruugo in 2018. Prior to joining the Group, he served as Director of Marketing & International Development at Lakeland, Group Marketing and E-Commmerce Director at Otto UK, and Brand Director at Shop Direct Group. He has extensive experience in online retail, marketing and ecommerce innovation, and has a degree in Economics. Tony is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Between 2018 and 2021, Rob was Chief Financial Officer of Asda. Previously he was at Amazon UK where he served as Vice President UK, Finance Director and Vice President of Consumables between 2013 and 2017. Rob is currently a Non-Executive Director of Card Factory plc and a Non-Executive Director and Trustee of Jisc. He was previously a Non-Executive Director of Ten Entertainment Group plc where he was also Chairman of the Risk and Audit Committee. Rob joined the Board of Fruugo in 2022 as a non-executive director, becoming an executive director in 2024.

In addition to her role at Fruugo, Liz is Client Engagement Director at Tech Nation, where she is responsible for delivering a national expansion strategy, providing proactive support to a UK wide network of rapidly scaling technology businesses, and curating and delivering strategic partnerships. Prior to this role, between 2001 to 2019 Liz held various senior positions at the global accountancy and consulting firm EY.

In 2023 Liz was awarded an MBE in King Charles III’s first New Year’s Honours list for Services to Technology .

Alan was the CEO of N Brown Group plc for over a decade after previously serving as the CFO of Littlewoods plc. He has been the Non-Executive Chairman of private equity-owned retail and online businesses, including Hotter Shoes and Roxor Group. He has also served on the Boards of Direct Wines and Charles Tyrwhitt.

Andy is a Global Partner and Managing Director of Rothschild & Co based in its general financial advisory division. He has advised and worked with many fast growing and entrepreneurial companies in the consumer, e-commerce and digital space.
